Project Goal:
The goal of the Global Issues of Transportation Design project is to contribute to the promotion of design understanding and collaboration between the U.S. and Brazil through the joint teaching, development and dissemination of creative work, of design research and resource materials, and of pedagogical tools and materials related to design studies, by means of curriculum design and student exchanges. The intent is to give participants the opportunity to initiate new cooperative ventures and to contribute creatively to the development of a new culture of learning and globalization in North and South America, enhanced by interaction with larger academic and cultural communities, professionals, and industry.
